About Darren

From 2011 to 2020 (before the Covid pandemic) I travelled 2.5 million miles delivering training programmes to some of the world's most recognisable companies.

During my travels I have coached over 850,000 people, both face to face and over virtual platforms like TEAMS or Zoom.

80% of my delegates speak English as a second language.

One common message I noticed is a lack of self confidence when having to deliver presentations in English.

With so much talent but a lack of self belief, I decided to create the Presentation Skills Academy.

The academy has one goal, unlock the hidden talent in non native English speakers.

I created the 7-step approach to build both confidence and skills and enable you to speak up effectively and get recognised for your talent.

Have you ever felt that you wanted to contribute in a meeting, but lacked confidence to speak up?

Do you feel too nervous to share your thoughts in team meetings?

Does the thought of doing a formal presentation fill you with fear?

You’re not alone, in fact it’s a common story, and it’s one that can change.

English is the common language of many global organisations.
With 1.5 billion English speakers nearly 75% of these are non-native English speakers.
Many non-native English speakers have great knowledge, talent and ideas but face an uphill battle to get this recognised.

 Does this sound like you?

My mission is to change this. Since 1999 I have coached and trained over 850,000 people globally.

Some of this was in my role at JPMorgan and since 2011 I have travelled globally working with some of the world’s
largest organisations, from finance, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and many other industries.

One common message I hear from my delegates is how they lack the confidence to present their ideas.

I want to give you the confidence and skill to present your ideas and unlock your potential.

Presenting is often considered as a formal event, often with a PowerPoint slideshow whether face to face or in a virtual world.

Whilst this is true, there are many other areas where the value of non-native English speakers is lost.  This includes:

Meetings

Project updates

1:1 with your manager

Sales meetings

Informal business conversations

Interviews

Social gatherings

Internal training programmes

“It’s time to change this, it’s time to get your true talent and expertise recognised.”

Let me show you how to have both the confidence and the skill to present your ideas,
so you can unlock your potential and deliver your message with confidence, clarity and credibility.

It's not what you know, it's how you SHOW what you know and it’s time to take the first step to unlocking your potential.

This programme is not only for non native English, to me it is for everyone who would like to improve their presentation skills (under the largest meaning, either while presenting an idea, a project, a product, or presenting themselves during interviews, actually even during day to day work and life).
